911, Oil painting by Jaisini

911, Oil painting by Jaisini This triptych is an early work where Jaisini had chosen the emergency number as a decorative possibility for associative image making. The artist may like the subject for its close connection to matters of life, death, and super power. He has utilized the idea not only for its symbolic meaning, but also for a visual purpose. In the triptych, side-by-side, coexists a depiction of eternity, ("1" with water), and a briefness of human life ("1" with Icarus).

The spatial fragmentation is a visual mode that creates a close up view. The large 9, 1, 1 numbers are inserted and incorporated in the paintings' surface which creates an optical illusion, as during a film development, when images emerge from the background. The left part of the triptych is No 9. This painting unites the number with a mob of demons who were brought together by a voodoo dance. The picture is willfully enigmatic but, at the same time, has a great power of not the phenomena it depicts, but rather the medium itself, an integration of the number with images visually. An anomalous space relationship in the three parts creates magic experience of flame, water, and fall. The three parts of the "911" triptych are to be read as a unity from left to right. The layering juxtaposition of images spins the work in a dynamic movement. "9" part exhibits a dance of spells when dark powers unfold the disaster. This left part of triptych with "9" reminds an arched gateway to Hell with the head devil situated diagonally from the top left corner towards the right foreground. This image is actually a large wooden mask with a huge white fang. A blue razor blade pierces its nose. The demon's eyes are rolled in from his exaltation of the weightless, ritual dance. The artist disguises his personages of dark forces as monsters. For ages the Last Judgments on the walls of churches had made much of frightful and grandiose monsters. Jaisini applies the humorous overtone to a theme of supernatural. In the center of "9," there is a nude female demon with red, absent eyes and bulging tongue, which speak more of her own ecstasy than of terror.

The color of "9" is not of an infernal pit, but instead is a heated color of the African sun that liquefies air. "1" with water shows "Flying Holland," a phantom-ship, a legendary sign of disaster for sailors. The ocean depths hold the remains of the shipwreck. Skulls and treasures suggest of the life's and earthly possessions' transience, "the memento mori" of a physical life. You may question the connection of the three pictures and find some interesting possibilities. What we have in "911" is not a universal course of events. It is an ordeal of one man, who stays behind his creation and is a survived prototype for his own judgment. Neither the beginning, nor the end of his tormented existence is constructed here, but the lesson of a legend is. To fulfill his concept, Jaisini uses the personages of Icarus who is a traditional image of an inventor. The portrayal of Icarus by Jaisini is a spiritual trial, the expression of delimitation that can happen of just-awakened and terrified consciousness of man. Creation brings the artists close to the destructive powers from beyond. Artists and inventors are familiar with this feeling of fall into abyss that can also be a moment of rise. Icarus is shown in the triptych separately from the treasure of the middle part (1 with water) as he is not a mediocre man who used to be the center of philosophical investigation as, for example in Bosch's "Death and the miser." In Jaisini's "911" the Four Last Things, Death, Judgment, Hell, Heaven, turn out in an unusual way.

Icarus looks at the destination of his fall with a weak, last hope, just as the Bosch's dying miser-man, for a miracle. In Jaisini's version, no one passes the test of Last Judgment, except for Icarus. He represents the creative kind, whose legend never dies. He is the one mortal left to face his destiny, yet undecided, is it to be the rise, or the fall? The "911" triptych creates a concept of a life cycle that does not stop, that blasts energy even through death. The work is a new poetic representation of the human dream to reach powers, which do not belong to the human nature. When the limits are being pushed to a critical point resulting in disaster, God is the one who is being called upon. In Jaisini's work, God is not rendered visually, but could be the painting's concept, a code of numbers for help, 9 1 1. The triptych has its aesthetic durability of a new confessional style. Seeing it Pink. Optimism Art

Optimism as new art trend is what the recent artfairs seem to convey with the atmosphere of festivities, parties and friendly art for everyone.
Art as fun for all.
The artworks that are biggest fun become the show's "fairmark" (landmark) for picture taking.

Rainbow running away from JAISINI

Profound in Julie Schenkelberg's Bad Blood
The life circle is VARIABLE going by an unknown pattern, no longer predictable,
defined or foreseen.
Steps taken -- forgotten.
The present moment dissipates in the past.
Past -- future. New -- old.
Beginning -- end.

Rhythm of Line

diamondstyleposter Jaisini NAVY BLUE ART COLOR

Rhythm of Line
In Early period Jaisini has more meaning manipulation creating concept of visual line’s enclosure in unison with logical line.
Movement in the space and constructed thinking process together seem to come to a deceptive simplicity of continuous line.
In reality the artist works in complicated manner of multiple approaches that has multi personalities united in one through a fight.
Was line predetermined in her movement?
But it is technically immediate, imaginative, and not prepared.
In accordance to the artist’s own assumptions, his line matures in his mind for long period of time before he could release it on the canvas together with the painting’s unique plot.

The plot of the picture’s characters usually serves purpose of mixing the originality of beauty with simple decorative purpose of line interlacing and sometimes it brings images in most unexpected connections, mixing such themes as classical music with semi erotic depictions where aesthetic flare of creative fertilization is deeply connected to erotic display of mastery, a dialectical incentive of creation.
Mixtures of refine eroticism and ultimately conservative in appearance subject of classical musicians brings the theme to unexpected prominence.
In paintings subject is not ever explicit or hidden too deeply between the lines to be hypocritically implied, to the opposite the artist sets his ideas in perfect harmony.
Jaisini tends to perfect all angles of his creation to the level of condition with constant curiosity about his art.
If you had learned the meaning you would start to see more of its visual technique.
Then it could start to change the meaning.
The process of growing together with Jaisini’s artworks is unlimited.
Just when you thought that you have grasped the capricious creation it starts to run away from you again.
And this is exactly what Jaisini stage in his art, the game that never ends and develops into new game.
Music is a particularly relevant aspect of Jaisini’s inspiration as a part of the artist’s daily life.
The connection of art images and subjects is not straightforward but still in many ways is connected to music sensitivity.
The immediate execution of Show Must Go On with the soundtrack of a song gave an impulse to conceive a concept of creation and destruction in the unusual visual image.
The conjunction of self-destructive meaning of true creativity and moment of elation often turns dreadfully in artist’s personal situation.
Jaisini’s paintings reveal a general tendency observed in almost every component of style he uses, the self-conscious rhythm of line that could be just as expressive as musical rhythm.
Rhythm has importance applied to musical composition but not to cacophonic sounds.
Same with the line with meaningful rhythm applied to significant composition.
The rule of content in Jaisini’s art is not the final.
The artist creates content to make see the form and reduce content in a process.
Content could be associated with human attributes.
For Jaisini content is a tool to express in art evolution of mind returning to beginning when line was a primary definition of childishness and purity.
The overall process of formalization of this line takes many stages but is rewarding as never before.
A style is new in its complexity mastering graphical with visual, logical with emotional and communicative ability.
Jaisini uses dialogue as a conveyor of meaning through lines it contain as in theatrical performance but following artistic tendency to train the viewer’s eye to enjoy color, tone, plasticity of line, composition with development of all the elements of painting to the point of great significance to add complexity to the context, to highlight visual with textual and otherwise.
The created web of signification and intertextual references is even more complex then artist might think in beginning of his work.
With development of his style Jaisini had realized the further complexity to stage a painting as a play.
The idea in his pictures can’t be controlled but is in the middle of a meaning’s vortex some of which is external and allows endless interpretation as if it was musical.

Super Green thingy!! a la mode Giuseppe Arcimboldo, a la mode Hieronymus Bosch, a la mode Paul Jaisini, a la mode Gleitzeit ...

a la mode Paul Jaisini, a la mode Gleitzeit, People get trapped on the internet without “a warning” that internet would serve you right if you use it for REAL WORK - it is priceless for the amount of info one gets for instance I found all matches on the current topic of INVISIBLE and invisibility.

Again if it wasn’t for the sources available on the www where people supply and share info I wouldn’t be able to understand the meaning and importance of Paul Jaisini and his Invisible art since the time he destroyed his genius paintings sometime around 1994.
If it wasn’t for the internet I wouldn’t be writing this now as I wouldn’t know about the widespread phenomena and popularity, but the “discovery” made me realize the connection of the social phenomena to the visual art, that is important, when nothing in visual art really connect to the vast unknown dimension of the “real people”.

New in its very core of not being what is expected of an art work, a finalized thought, an outlook on what art is concerned with. This time art presented us with a form of questioning the fluidity of event (scenic art, temporary, movable, to be incorporated into next play, reused.) The means of scenic artist added new dimension  to the white cube space in most ambiguous way.  Inviting interactivity without even hinting that this is not just the installation of artworks. This is actually art that pushes limits of a matter dealing with an object's solidity and finality.

Stelly Richie, Summer Diary Black And White Bugs Love series

I thought I should post one of my more controversial pieces (LOL) I remember watching insect porn as a kid on the discovery channel or some nature program and it left a deep impression on me because it got me wondering: so what makes us more superior to them, aside from size? If we have so much in common with even the tiniest insects and organisms, we are far more primitive than we give ourselves credit for; we do the same things flies do -- something about that thought drove me nuts as a kid... But actually we know nothing about how other creatures see the world, even with all our scientific equipment. They could be 1000 times smarter than us and process the world through numerical algorithms or highly complex visual abilities that would cause our own brains to explode. They're not hard-wired to do things as we believe; they just know exactly what needs to be done and are therefore far superior to us ;
